A School dropout, 18 years old guy, Mohit Jain, who is already known for creating a website for Anna Hazare to fight against corruption, has now successfully attempted LIMCA book of records bycreating 36 websites (including booking the domain, hosting the content on their server and designing of the website) in less than 14 hours (including 01:17:00 break time). The main motive behind this attempt to create a record is, WF1008 Team* wanted everyone to be online and hence, tag line read “Har Aadmi Online @ Aam Aadmi Price”. The WF1008– An event to attempt LIMCA book of records, took place in Akshaya Institute of Technology (AIT), Tumkur, Karnataka on April 05th & 6th 2014. Due to some practical difficulties, the event was shifted from Chennai to Tumkur. The event started at 12:15:00PM (5th April 2014) and ended at 02:14:20AM (6Th April 2014) and the chief guest on the occasion was Tumkur’s Mr. Raghavendra (CPI karnataka state police), Mr. Sheshadri (PSI karnataka state police) (inspired from Satyameva Jayate; season 2, episode 2). Chairman, Principle & Academy Dean of AIT where also shared stage with chief guest. This attempt was performed in front of 6 observers who are lecturer.
A WF1008 Team of 8 members took an initiative to achieve the dream of an 18 year old boy and successfully conducted the event. WF1008 Team awaits to hear from LIMCA team to accept our achievement, qualifying as a record event, so as to enter into LIMCA book of records.
