It is golden jubilee ‘Atmarpan’ year of Swa. Savarkar !
Mumbai : In post-independence days, Swa. Savarkar was detained under a very disgraceful allegation. Board with his name put up in Andaman was removed, so, what did this country give to Savarkar, was the question asked by Sarsanghchalak of RSS during a lecture on ‘Savarakar and present situation’ in a program organized to commemorate golden jubilee memorial year of ‘Atmarpan’ by Savarkar.
Shri. Ranajit Savarkar, the Executive President of ‘Savarkar Smarak (smarak)’, Swamini Vikram Savarkar, its office bearers, many patrons of Savarakar and patriots attended the program in large number.
Shri. Jambuvantrao Dhote released a book titled ‘Vikram Savarkar- Ek Chaitanya Zara’on this occasion which is based on the memories of Vikram Savarkar and it is written by his followers. The special emblem for this memorial year was inaugurated by Sarsanghchalak Bhagavat.
Shri. Arun Joshi, the President of ‘Smarak’ stated that various drives are undertaken at national level, which are corresponding to Swa. Savarkar’s ideology; but all should work with unity and the ‘Smarak’ will strive hard this year to achieve the same. Savarkar’s ideology is being effectively propagated through the medium of this ‘Smarak’ at national and international level and it will be done even in future.
