NEW DELHI (TIP): Amid a growing concern in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) about the changing demographic profile of India, one of the top leaders of its affiliate Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has demanded that the ‘two children norm’ must strictly be impplemented among Muslims.
“Rather than subsidising each birth of a Muslim kid, it is must that after two children, there has to be the strictest curb. Perhaps a punishable criminal offence and stopping the ration, jobs, educational facilities will streamline the population facilitation towards better development,” VHP’s working president Praveen Togaida has written in Organiser, the RSS mouthpiece.
The latest issue of Organiser has done a cover story on the religion data released by the government recently. The numbers revealed that Muslim population grew most rapidly among all communities.
In his write up, Togadia – who is best known for his pro-Hindu rehtoric – said ‘Bharat’ withstood 400plus years of Muslim rule, but with a permanently damaged culture and surrounding. “Now, if we do not stand up against the ‘Population Jihad’, Bharat will soon be an Islamic state,” he warned, saying a serious extintinction (of Hindus) seems to be on the anvil.
Togadia saw a method – and not a mere accident – in systematic growth of Muslim population in India and dished out figures to buttress his argument.
“Another fast action is must and that is kicking out over 300,000 Bangladeshi infiltrators who have set themselves firmly in the North-East of Bharat. They do NOT belong here. They have no right to use our resources and fleece us using their vote Jihad. The strong socio-political will surely will achieve the process of fast sending them out of Bharat,” Togadia wrote.
He maintained that a strong resolve to immediately tackle the alarming increase in Muslim population will safeguard ‘Bharat’ and therefore, ensure total Hindu well-being, the VHP leader said the worse and direct socio-economic impact on changing demographic profile is seen on the safety and security of Hindus i.e. the family, land, properties, religious places, employment, trade and other businesses.
“Hindus have shrunk over the ages only to Bharat as a nation and are scattered in some limited nations as a vulnerable minority. This is a serious calamity and the immediate concrete steps are needed to protect Hindus and Bharat,” Togadia said.
