With Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leaders steadily raking up the Ram temple issue at Ayodhya in recent times, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) claimed that the work of embellishing stones for the proposed grand temple at the disputed site would start at Kar Sevakpuram soon.

“The Karsevak Puram will come back to life soon as chiselling and embellishing of stones for the construction of the Ram Temple will start soon,” VHP General Secretary, Champat Rai said in Ayodhya on Thursday. Rai also inspected the workshops at Kar Sevakpuram and sought information on the maintenance of stone work. “Soon the stones would start reaching Ayodhya from Rajasthan for embellishing.

This is the last stage of getting the stones ready and pillars before these are shifted to Ram Janmabhoomi complex,” he stressed.
Rai said that an important meeting was held in June in which the issue of construction of Ram Mandir was discussed. Ashok Singhal and president of the Shree Ram Janma Bhoomi Nyas, Mahant Nritya Gopal Das were present in that meeting.

“It was decided that preparations should start for the construction of the Ram Temple and stones should be brought from Rajasthan to Ayodhya,” he said adding that this decision was taken in order to fulfill the unfinished dreams of Hindus. Of late, RSS leaders have been pitching in intermittently about the construction of Ram temple. Recently, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat had said,

“The grand goal may be realised in our own time. May be we can see it with our own eyes.”
