VHP Leader Hits out at Siddaramaiah

HASSAN: By banning Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) working president Pravin Togadia from entering the district, the government has yet again proved its “anti-Hindu” stand, VHP organising secretary of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu Gopal said on Tuesday. He was addressing the Virat Hindu Samajotsava organised here to mark 50 years of VHP’s existence.

Gopal said, “Siddaramaiah does not want Hindus to unite. He only wants to unite AHINDA and has deliberately banned Togadia.”

He challenged the government to stop Hindus from participating in such conventions in future.

“Unfortunately, the government has a soft corner for the Popular Front of India (PFI), who are ruining the unity and integrity of the nation… Can the chief minister ban the PFI?” he said.
