Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) president Praveen Togadia lashed out at Telangana CM KCR. Severely opposing his decision to implement 12% muslim reservation in the new state, he said VHP will oppose any move in this regard. Alleging that injustice is being meted out to Hindus, he said that it was like a ‘Nizam’s rule’ in Telangana.
Pointing at the high court and the Supreme Court’s ruling against religion-based job quota, Mr Togadia blamed KCR for showing ‘discrimination’ against Hindus. He said it was a matter of concern that the state government was doing nothing to provide jobs to Hindu youths but is more bothered about the minorities. The VHP leader also criticised the TRS government for its scheme to provide financial assistance for the marriages of poor Muslim girls and wondered why there is no such facility for the marriages of poor Hindu girls.
Togdia stated that VHP is organising a ‘Hindu Sammelan’ in Hyderabad between Dec 25-29. On other hand, Togadia also took jibe at Andhra Pradesh government albeit indirectly. Alleging that the government authorities have failed to implement the orders which ban the preaching of other religions on Tirumala Hills, he sought strict action to stop evangelist activity near the Tirupati temple. – See more at: http://www.gulte.com/news/33801/VHP-Demands-KCR-To-Help-Poor-Hindu-Girls#sthash.8YdCApyd.dpuf
