DM Kumar said, “We have received the list from VHP and will investigate into their claims.”

The VHP claimed to have covered areas such as Khatipada, Lohamandi, Mantola, Bagh Gurunanak and Idgah in its survey.

As per the list, 19 families from Chamcham Gali also known as Gudiri Mansur Khan, seven families from Katra Khankhana, 24 families from Topkhana Chota Galibpura, 28 families from Paatiram Gali, 47 from Koripada, Chillipada and Kulahi, 51 families from Jatpura, 15 families from Khatipada, 143 families from Billochpura and 18 families from Mantola have “left”.

Dubbing the VHP’s claim of migrations as totally fragmented and politically motivated, vice-chairman of Congress’ minority wing in Agra, Haji Jamiluddin Qureshi said these right-wing Hindu organisations are in league with the BJP to polarise UP voters before the elections. He said no such migrations have happened and if any one has opted to move out, it is purely for better job prospects or a better life elsewhere.
