Ujjain: Protest mounts against cow slaughter in Kerala, Hindu organisations call for immediate action

Ujjain: Protesting against the slaughter of cows in public in Kerala, various Hindu organizations have demanded demand severe punishment for the offenders and submitted a memorandum in the name of the President of India to sub-divisional magistrate Kshitij Sharma on Friday. Members of Samast Hindu Sangthan Samanvay Samiti led by Avdheshpuri Maharaj said that Congress workers had hurt the sentiments of crores of Hindus. They also challenged the right to observe one’s religion and respect others.

State president of Madhya Pradesh, Shivsena Gauraksha Nyas, Manish Singh Chouhan said Congress president Sonia Gandhi should resign from her post as she was unable to restrain her party workers from performing such hideous acts. Hindu Shaurya Jagran Abhiyan, Akhil Bhartiya Hindu Mahasabha, Bharat Raksha Manch, Hindu Janjagriti Samiti, Akhand Hindu Sena and other groups participated in the protest.
