Dear Friends,

JAI Hind!

Subject: THE HINDUS IN BANGLA DESH NEEDS PROTECTION
It is well known that the Hindus in Bangladesh need protection against marauding Islamists of all hues. The famous author Bentick had brought that out quite graphically a few years back. Many from the US do follow this up. Here are Hindu activists in Bangladesh, who also keep in touch with American friends.
Some eminent friends of ours in Delhi have been constantly following this cause. The problem is the subject matter is an internal problem of Bangladesh. How can India intervene in this?
The Prime Minister Begum Hashina, who is friendly to India, is not in control of these Islamist forces like Jamaat-e-Islam or the ISIS.As a matter of fact, the ISIS have killed a number of Hindus, especially belonging to Hindu temples. The Jammat has been no better. Let us leave it at that.
A report suggests that the movement to save the Hindus in Bangladesh has been gaining momentum in the US. That, indeed, is a piece of good news! The followers of, Trump is now planning to bring their protests to the Washington DC. They are saying, “What has been happening to our Hindu sisters and brothers in Bangladesh is beyond description”.
Let us look at some of the recent developments Trump’s daughter at Virginia and Yalamanchi at Chicago echoed similar sentiments, “The Hindus of Bangladesh have been subjected to THE GREATEST TRAGEDY IN HUMAN HISTORY, as Will Durrant had said about India.
We learn currently the cause of the Hindu Bangladeshis is sweeping America. How do we wish even one percent of that could infuse the Hindu Intelligential in India? Would the government of India and the Hindu friends in genera like to take note of this?
The sole purpose of all these demonstrations are as in the report under reference (copy attached) is to
“force the Bangladesh government to protect its fast decreasing minority Hindus”.
We learn protest- demonstrations have been held in front of the UN also.
Given all these, could we expect some Hindu organisation like the Hindu Mahasabha or the Arya Samaj launch would some protest demonstrations in front of Parliament in session/PM’s house/ Rashtrapti Bhawan or at least at Jantar Mantar. In brief, PROTEST WE MUST DO.
