‘Target Hindus, Target Hindu Girls’ a project of organized Islamists, revels patriotic Hindu group Bajrang Dal

Udupi, Jan 11: The members of Bajrang Dal on Saturday January 11 alleged that an organized network targetting Hindus and particularly Hindu girls is operating in Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts. The network indulges in kidnapping and harassment of Hindu girls for blackmail, they said, adding that the group goes by the name of ‘Target Hindus, Target Hindu Girls’.

Addressing a press meet here to condemn the incident wherein a youth was arrested for uploading obscene photographs of a girl on Facebook, Bajrang Dal convener Sharan Pumpwell said the group indulges in trapping innocent girls of another community in the name of love, taking videos and photographs of them for blackmail and even converting them.

He also gave example of the recent Derakalakatte blackmail, rape and forced sex incident to stress his point. He also pointed out that 90 percent of the girls who go missing elope with boys of another community.

He further said that an organized crime network was behind the drug abuse among college students.

“The police must take these issues seriously and investigate each case thoroughly by forming separate teams. Those involved in these crimes must be brought to book and stringent action must be taken against the culprits without bowing to any political pressure,” he said.

“Mohammed Yaseer from Udupi who was arrested for uploading obscene photos of a girl in Facebook should be charged with rape and blackmail,” he demanded.

He also advised parents of college students in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts to warn their children about the increasing number of such crimes and urged them to be careful. “For the last 20 years Bajrang Dal has been striving to create awareness about the existence of sex mafia and love Jihad in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts, but parents are not showing enough concern on these

issues. I urge parents to monitor their children’s activities and girls to be careful about the boys they befriend. Mobile phones have been a cause for increasing number of crimes among college students, and it is important for parents to be more responsible in this regard,” he said.

Posters of uncensored Facebook photos create flutter

The residents of Udupi, particularly students were shocked to see posters of uncensored Facebook photographs, allegedly uploaded by Mohammed Yaseer showing him with a girl in a compromising position, were seen all over the town. The poster also carried the name of the girl.

Posters of these photos, with the girl’s face clearly seen, were found pasted on the compound walls of Madhava Kripa College, MGM College, Diana talkies, Santhekatte, and other places.

Some of the students approached the Manipal police decrying the act of the miscreants, alleging that it was done to gain political mileage.

The police got into action and removed all the posters.

It is suspected that the posters were put up during the night. A smaller copy of the poster was also shown by Bajrang Dal’s Sharan Pumpwell during the press meet. He condemned the miscreants’ act.
