Stop ugly degeneration of Hindu saints and deities through the film ‘Bank Chor’

In ‘Bank Chor‘, the subtitle of the film is,

‘A Haathi, A Ghoda & A Baba Walk Into A Bank’…..

Why Not,  ‘A Haathi, A Ghoda & A Maulana Walk Into A Bank’?

Protest against the denigrating poster of Hindu Saints for upcoming film ‘Bank Chor’.

Upendra Bharti | HENB | Mumbai | April 18, 2017:: As the devout Dharma Sangathana, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has received several complaints from Hindus regarding the poster and teaser uploaded on YouTube for the upcoming ‘comedy-thriller’ film “Bank Chor” starring Riteish Deshmukh impersonating a Hindu swami and holding a gun. The poster basically vilifies the Hindu trinity, which objectify highly revered Hindu Deity’s, Shri Vishnu, Shiv and Shri Datta.

Interest person can view the poster by clicking this website: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3611266/

Upon reviewing the website, the HJS team immediately notified and appealed to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) requesting them to review the poster and take appropriate action against the producer of this film. In the appeal, HJS explained how Hindu saints have been maligned and type caste by this poster. In addition, the appeal also mentioned that Bollywood has depicted Hindu saints, swamis and pundits in a humiliating manner and also expressed concerns regarding the petty tactics used by the film producer to attract publicity through this vulgar poster.

Unfortunately, the HJS team has not received any response from the CBSF review committee. Hindu Existence Forum (HEF) also condemn such Bollywood vindications on Hindu sentiments through degeneration of Hindu deities and saints depicting  in a bad light. (Upananda Brahmachari, Editor of Hindu Existence, has also forwarded this report to all concerned authorities conveying the resentment of Hindus created by the film ‘Bank Chor’).

Consequently, HJS And HEF now request all readers to appeal against this appalling denigration peacefully and lawfully by either calling the numbers below or emailing them, requesting them to remove the denigrating poster or any insensitive scenes from the movie.

Not only that, Hindu Existence Form highly denounce the role of casting actors and actress in the film, “Bank Chor” including its directors, producers, financiers and sponsors, all involved in hurting Hindu sentiments. The casting stars in the film are Vivek Oberoi, Rhea Chakraborty, Riteish Deshmukh, Akrtit Singh, Bhuban Arora and others.

If they don’t change the screenplay and remove the poster of the film to stop the alleged degeneration, they may face a strict social boycott.

THERE WILL A HUGE ALL INDIA PROTEST ON THE RELEASE DATE (JUNE 16, 2017) OF “BANK CHOR”, IF THE REQUIRED CHANGES ARE NOT DONE PROPERLY.
