RSS to manage booths for BJP candidates in Delhi

As per the RSS strategy, two swayamsevaks have given responsibility of one booth. They would appeal the people to support the BJP candidate via mass contact. The swayamsevaks are being given special training for this purpose.

BJP’s election campaign is yet to pick up momentum as per expectations. The ‘Ek Note Kamal Par Vote’ campaign has fizzled out in due course of time and in order to avoid the glaring eyes of Election Commission, the saffron party has also pulled down the curtains on its ‘Chai Pe Charcha’ programme.

The BJP’s Delhi unit president Harsh Vardhan is, however, claiming that the party has drawn a five-tier strategy for campaigning. Based on this very strategy, the party is giving maximum emphasis on polling booths.

The officer bearers of Sangh Parivar are of the view that the process of interaction with the people and stressing on mass contact to reach out to the voters are yet to pick momentum. If things don’t change, it would be difficult for the voters to reach polling booths, which could hamper the overall turnaround.

According to an officer bearer of the Sangh Parivar, the people are unhappy with the government polices and are bracing for a change. However, it would be a challenge of sorts to translate this anger into votes during elections.
