Pune (Maharashtra) : Himayat Baig was arrested in connection with bomb blast in German Bakery in which 17 persons were killed. Bahujan Mukti Party and BAMCEF have offered candidature to Himayat Baig to contest Parliamentary elections for them from Sambhajinagar. Anjum Inamdar, Chief of Bahujan Mukti Paty said, “The party will contest election for 48 seats in the State. We are sure that Himayat will win. Since his candidature has been declared, we are getting support from Dalit and Muslim organizations, expressing interest in working for him.” (Himayat Baig has been accused of involvement in terrorist activities; therefore, if cases are filed against them who have declared his candidature and concerned parties; only then, there will be curb on such wrong doings; else, terrorists like Yasin Bhatkal will also be declared as candidate of some party tomorrow, glorifying his evil acts and then Hindus will have to say ‘There was once a country named Bharat on the map of the world’ ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
Himayat’s elder brother Tariq Baig said, “We are doubtful whether getting candidature would help him in any way. We are not aware of his getting candidature; it could be a rumour. We have no idea whether it would be possible from legal viewpoint and whether any good would come out of it.” (When Himayat’s family is doubtful about such candidature, what should we call optimism of people like Anjum Inamdar ?
