Why this discrimination? GN Saibaba gets bail as he is a Maoist and Sadhvi Pargya Singh Thakur stays in jail as she is a Hindu activist!
Upananda Brahmachari | HENB | Haridwar | July 4, 2015:: Recently one Naxalite sympathizer and a suspected Maoist recruiter, Professor GN Saibaba granted bail for three months on health grounds. Over a year after spending time in jail, Delhi University Professor GN Saibaba is all set to move to his home in the national capital. The Bombay high court on June 30th granted bail to the professor, who was arrested by the Maharashtra police for alleged Naxal links based at Gadchiroli.
A division bench of Chief Justice Mohit Shah and Justice S B Shukhre granted bail to Prof. Saibaba for three months to help him seek treatment in Delhi. He has been asked to provide a personal bond of Rs 50,000.
It is said that the health of Prof. Saibaba, who suffers from 90 per cent disability and is wheelchair-bound, has been failing for the past few months. The HC bench while granting him bail took into consideration his health condition and said that he requires care and affection of his family after quashing the points of the Govt prosecutor Sandeep Shinde, as pleaded, “the treatment can be provided by the authorities and a choice of doctors can be considered. Further, he should not be released because he is part of a banned terrorist organization ‘CPI (Maoist)’ and evidence shows that he played a key role in promoting their agenda”.
Professor GN Saibaba was arrested by Maharashtra Police on 9th May 2014 from Delhi for his alleged links with banned terrorist group CPI-Maoist concentrating his activism on providing logistics and helping in recruitment for the group. The professor was charged with under six sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
Now, the bail of Prof. GN Saibaba on health ground is well accepted by a section of great Indian media and subversive Maoist sympathizers and being told that this is a justice in late, he should be freed earlier as the prof has an aggravating cardiac problem and he is now wheel-chair-bound.
But, at the same point of time we are not thinking of a serious patient of cancer languishing in jail over six years without settling the supplementary charges when the charges against her under Maharashtra Control of Organised Crimes Act (MCOCA) were denied by the Supreme Court of India in the case relating to Malegaon blast case in Sept, 2008. This patient is also wheel-chair-bound and sometime requires to produce her in the court carrying her in stretcher.
Yes, this is a case of Sadhvi (female saint) Pargya Singh Thakur, an accused in Malegaon blast in 2008 in which Seven people were killed in a communally-sensitive textile town in Nasik district of North Maharashtra. After the arrest of Sadhvi Pragya, she were put in severe torture of the male police officials and put under a series of official and ‘unofficial’ narco-analysis tests, which made her permanent physical impairments and finally turned as a serious cancer patient, as told.
If we want to take these two cases of Prof. GN Saibaba and Sadhvi Pargya Singh Thakur in a comparative spectrum, we must see the huge disparity in the realm of despondency. It is shocking that relief comes obviously to Prof. Saibaba as he is a Maoist. His ailments are also taken seriously when the serious charges against him under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act are still sustainable.
But, no bail yet for Sadhvi Pragya Singh as she is an insignificant Hindu female saint and not an elite professor in Delhi University. Again, the false charges framed against Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur were scanned by the Supreme Court of India by giving a direction to the Special Judge in designated court to consider the bail plea of Sadhvi Pargya, but the Indian secular system in one part judiciary and in another in police and politics are making this large vindication against a serious female cancer patient as she is a Hindu activist. Not only that, the so called Human rights group and anti-Hindu media morons in India keep mum on the matter of severe violation of international norms related with rights of prisoners!
In this secular system in India, an Maoist activist has a larger importance than a Hindu activist. An illness of a Maoist professor is more important than a serious condition of Hindu female saint suffering from cancer. So, it happens for GN Saibaba and disheartens in the case of Sadhvi Pragya.
The significant hint in this context what surfacing vehemently is that, Indian Hindus are grossly affected by a sense of bare discrimination. Hindus are ill-treated by every political parties including BJP. Hindus are considered less important than the Muslims, Christians and even the Maoists. So, GN Saibaba is getting the bail and Sadvi Pargya is languishing in Jail.
Those who ably read the wall writing of a Hindu Revolution are wise and the moron mainstream media in India will be stunned soon. The days are coming soon while Sadvi Pargya, Swami Aseemananda, Dara Singh and so on will be freed permanently and all these culprits like GN Saibaba, Salman Khan, Sanjay Khan and their allies will be put on permanent custody.
For avoiding the situation in more critical, Sadhvi Pargya Singh Thakur must be granted bail in accordance with law and justice.
