Alert Hindus, various mandals (festival committees), organizations etc. are extending strong support to the action committee set up for opposing malpractices in managing Shri Mahalakshmi Devasthan controlled by Western Maharashtra Devasthan Vyavasthapan Samiti. This Devasthan Samiti has been involved in enormous misappropriation of funds and there is a wave of anger generated amongst Hindus. The action committee has resolved to take out a protest march on 2nd February in this context.
Participation in march proposed on 2nd February with show of full strength ! – Sadhvi Saraswatiji
Kolhapur (Maharashtra) : Shri. Sunil Ghanavat, the spokesperson of action committee set up to fight against mismanagement of Shri Mahalakshmi Devasthan had a meeting with Sadhvi Saraswatiji on 26th Janaury 2015 and explained to her the issue of scam by Devasthan. Sadhviji later said that such agitation would be extended support by joining the protest march with their full strength. H. H. Kum. Swati Khadye, Dr. (Sou) Shilpa Kothavale of Sanatan Sanstha and members of action committee, viz. Shri. Madhukar Nazare, Shri. Shivanand Swami and Shri. Rajan Bunage were present on the occasion.
The corrupt should be severely punished ! – Sadguru Bal Maharaj
Ichalkaranji (Maharashtra) : It is a very serious matter that malpractices are taking place in the ‘darbar/ Court’ of Shri Mahalakshmi Devi. Persons involved in such malpractices should be severely punished. I am going to join the march scheduled on 2nd February; along with my associates from Ichalkaranji, stated Sadguru Santosh a.k.a. Bal Maharaj when Shri. Sunil Ghanavat, Shri. Madhukar Nazare, Shri. Shivanand Swami, Shri. Rajan Bunage of ‘action committee’ and Shri. Pravin Naik of HJS met him.
