Nov 23rd 2014 (New Delhi, India): PHRRP Partner Hindu Mahasabha of America Donated 60 Blankets to Pak Hindu Refugees in Delhi. The blankets were donated as part of Pakistan Hindu Refugee Relief Program and sponsored by HMSA – A US based organization working toward political empowerment of Hindus with worldwide scope. Hindu Mahasabha of America ideologue Dilip Mehta and current president Dr. Rudranath Talukdar expressed optimism on relief operation for Pakistani Hindu refugees based in India. At the donation event present were Pakistani Hindu refugee’s program global director Rahul Chandra and Delhi / NCR coordinator Hemant Sharma. The program has been in place since 2011 and has donated tents, water tanks, food, grocery, medicine, clothes, school dress and stationary, legal assistance and local social support to Pakistan Hindu refugee programs in Delhi region and Rajasthan.
HMSA is a partner organization of Pakistani Hindu refugees relief program (PHRRP) alongside HAF, VHPA, WHF, USHA and Sindhi Alliance Groups based in USA. Local India coordination is being implemented by volunteers of VHP, Hindu Helpline and independent activists.
Pakistani Hindu refugee’s program global director Rahul Chandra talked to refugee group leader where they appreciated the efforts of Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh in providing VISA’s and other Govt. support to Pakistani Hindu refugee’s. Under the Indian National Congress Govt. rule, the Hindu refugees requirements were totally ignored they lived under the atmosphere of forced deportation and scant attention from Govt. Under the Hon. Indian PM Narendra Modi Govt. Hindu refugees said ” Now general public have more respect for our women, children and there is hope revived” .

On being asked what prompted them to migrate to India, they said Fake Loans were registered in their name in Pakistan, they are forced to study Islam and constantly asked to embrace Islam, Girls are raped and Hindus are treated as servants in jobs etc. The refugee group leader lauded efforts of NEHR SINGH JAT – a local socialite and ex- Army person who has been supporting Hindu refugees in Adarsh Nagar area since long and when local administration started harassing them during UPA regime, he personally signed a guarantee adopting these families and took responsibility of any issue. He later foght and won a court case allowing Hindu refugees to stay in this area of Delhi. He gave his land in Haryana and even house area as temp refugee to Hindu refugees.
