Subject: SANSKRIT IN DUBLIN, IRELAND Sanskrit In Dublin
We have had occasions to send many mails periodically on Sanskrit, “The MOTHER OF ALL LANGUAGES”.
We felt we should share the major contents of a report lying with us for some time. The report is titled “WHY MY CHILD SHOULD STUDY SANSKRIT? This is from a teacher in Sanskrit in John Scottus School in Dublin.
There are 80 similar schools in UK and around who have made similar decision.
The author says, “Sanskrit stands out above all languages for its beauty of sound, pecision in pronunciation and reliability as well as thoroughness in every aspect of its structure. This is why it has never changed unlike other languages. It has had no need to change being the most perfect language of the mankind. “That is saying quite a lot indeed!
The author adds, “Although India has been the custodian of Sanskrit, Sanskrit has had universal appeal (should we say, it has even now,).Sadly, it does not seem so to be so to the so called intentlligetsia in the country.
As to the question “Why MY CHILD SHOULD STUDY”, the answer provided by the teacher RUTGERKORTENHORS.

With all these and what we know, one can readily agree with in Irish teacher that the future of Sanskrit will be bright.

Sanskrit describes all aspects of human life from the past abstract philosophical to the latest scientific discoveries, hinting at further development”.
