Spectacular victory for BJP in 4 states – OFBJP celebrating across USA
OFBJP-USA is jubilant upon learning the election results of 4 states in India, where BJP accomplished spectacular wins in all states. OFBJP-USA has opened a Hot line on Sat Dec 7th night for its members and a large group of them assembled over the phone and watched and monitored the elections results till 4 AM in the morning of Dec 8th. There was a wide spread celebrations across the Indian Diaspora; congratulatory greetings were exchanged; and sweets were distributed at small gatherings during Sunday lunch time despite the bad weather in major parts of the country. OFBJP has organized victory celebrations in Houston and Chicago on Dec 8th evening. They are also organizing victory celebrations across USA including New Jersey/New York, Washington DC, Atlanta, California, Dallas, St. Louis, Detroit, Philadelphia, Memphis etc., during coming few weeks.
OFBJP President Elect, Shri Chandrakant Patel who just returned from India after actively participating in the BJP election campaign in Chhattisgarh, said that it is the victory of the people and the people of India in general are fed-up with Congress party because of its massive corruption and skyrocketing prices. He also said that the good governance of BJP Chief Ministers complemented by Narendra Modi’s charisma helped BJP win all four states. Dr. Adapa Prasad, Immediate Past President said that the election results revealed the anger and frustration of general public towards Congress Party’s governance. He said that Sonianomics and Manmohanomics are utter failure and people of India saw through the superficial enticement of the people. Also, another important factor that is revealed in these elections is that in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, all sections of the society including minorities have voted for BJP’s growth and development message as widely propounded by it Prime Ministerial candidate, Shri Narendra Modi.
Shri Rakhspal Sood, Sr. Advisor of OFBJP said that India is ready to affect change, and make Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of India to usher-in a new era in India’s growth. He said that Indian Diaspora is resolved to help BJP with all its energy and strength to bring change in India. National Treasurer, Shri Krishna Reddy said that gone are the days of doling out sops and allurements to people just before the elections, people want proven track record of creating jobs and development as demonstrated in BJP ruling states. Prof. Dinesh Agrawal, Past President and Advisor, said that the process of BJP gaining victory in 2014 parliamentary elections is started, and said that a massive wave is being formed in favor of BJP and Narendra Modi across India.
