Trinidadian professor meets CXC in Barbados
Trinidadian professor, Dr Kumar Mahabir, will meet the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) on Monday at its headquarters in Bridgetown, Barbados.
Mahabir will be making a lone presentation based on his research paper entitled “The Marginalisation and Exclusion of Indians by the CXC in the CSEC and CAPE History and Literature syllabi.” His presentation will be followed by questions by the CXC management headed by Glenroy D. Cumberbatch and Cleveland Sam, Registrar and Assistant Registrar, respectively.
Mahabir is an Assistant Professor at the Center for Education Programs at the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT).
Mahabir’s paper was presented at “Conference on Inclusive Education: Achieving Education for All” at the University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago, on February 15, 2017. The conference was organised by the School of Education of the UWI and Potsdam University in New York.
