Mangaluru, 20 Mar 2015: The Hindu Mahasabha alleged home minister KJ George’s role in the suspicious death of IAS officer D K Ravi and cautioned of aggravated protest if the investigation is not handed over to CBI.
Hindu Mahasabha state secretary Dharmendra addressing the media persons here on Friday March 20, said that since D K Ravi had planned to raid a company owned by minister George, both him and state government have played their role in Ravi’s death.
‘Due to this development, the state government has sent a clear message that it no longer requires honest officers in its administrative cadre. If at all CM and home minister have any respect for them, then they have to hand over the investigation to CBI and resign from their respective portfolios. In order to pressurise the state administration to hand over the case to CVI, Mahasabha will stage a protest and Rasta Roko at Pumpwell circle on Sunday March 22,’ said Dharmendra.
‘We urge the state government to prohibit the cow slaughter and ban on PFI in the state for raising slogans favouring Pakistan,’ said Dharmendra.
Hindu Mahasabha Dakshina Kannada district president Shravan Kumar, secretary Naveen Kumar Neermarga, Chetan Mallya and others were present.
