Jihadi Terrorists planning attack in 8 Indian states targeting Hindu Temples and crowded places

Probable Jihad attack in IndiaHENB | New Delhi | Dec 13, 2015:: In a major development, Intelligence Bureau (IB) has sounded an high alert over a possible terror attack in 8 Indian states including Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh,  Maharashtra, Haryana, West Bengal.

According to an IBN7 report, the Jihadi terrorists are targeting religious and tourists sites. The hit list includes Jaipur, Ajmer, Jodhpur, Sikar (in Rajasthan); Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi (in Uttar Pradesh) etc and they are  planning to attack upon religious sites, tourist spots, shopping malls, important buildings, railway and bus terminus and crowded places.

The IB sleuths have directed to beef up security at malls, religious sites and tourist places of the 8 states in the wake of the alert. In the report it is mentioned that Pakistan Intelligence agency ISI is behind this dangerous attack involving Jihadi outfits like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed. The report says, Jihadi Mastermind Hafiz Saeed and Terror don Dawood Ibrahim are also instigating such attacks in India around the new year festivity. The attackers may the members of suicidal squads or the human bombs.

It is told that undisclosed details of this report were obtained from the versions derived from the arrested two ISI agents from Bareilly and Rajouri in last month. They told the home grown terror groups in India have collected unbelievable amount of arms, ammunition and explosive to create mayhem within India repeatedly. It is also known that two dreadful LeT terrorists named as ‘Dujana’ and ‘Ujana’ have entered into India in the first week in December.

As per latest reports, special safety measures have been taken at the many railway stations and bus stands of the targeted states. Security agencies have stepped up the vigil after the IB’s alert.

On Friday. in a written reply to the Lok Sabha, Minister of State for Defence Rao Inderjit Singh said between 2012 and September 30, 2015, there have been 92 attempts at infiltration by terrorists. A total of 37 terrorists were killed and 38 “returned”. The statement revels that at least 300 terrorists have managed to entre Jammu and Kashmir since 2012.

In 2015, till September end, 16 terrorists managed to infiltrate and one of them was “apprehended alive”.

Giving figures on ceasefire violations along parts of the Line of Control (LoC) and the international border (IB), Singh said between January to November 30 this year, there have been 151 incidents of firing.

Along the IB areas controlled by the BSF, there have been 249 ceasefire violations from January to October 31 this year.

Earlier, on Thursday, a senior official of state-run Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) was arrested from Rajasthan for alleged links with terror organisation ISIS. The Special Operation Group (SOG) and ATS of Rajasthan Police had arrested Mohd Sirazudin from Jaipur.

As the Jihadi threat to India is all time high, some experts opined people’s involvement to combat the sudden Jihadi attacks in befitting manner through awareness, training and empowerment.
