Dear Mandir Priest, Executive and Devotee
“Nithyanandam!” from the Los Angeles Aadheenam, Nithyanandeshwara Hindu Temple in Montclair, CA. On behalf of all the host temples, it is our joy and privilege to cordially invite you to participate with priests and other Mandir executives in the 5th annual Hindu Mandir Priests’ Conference – an outcome of the Hindu Mandir Executives’ Conference (HMEC).
Purpose
Through its annual conference, the HMPC seeks to empower priests to make sacred practices of Sanatana Dharmameaningful and relevant to the younger generation of Hindus. This empowerment will expand their role in the spiritual and cultural wellbeing of the North American devotee community.
Program
During the conference, participants will deliberate and bring forth practical solutions to strengthen the role of the modern priest. Building on past conference, possible topics for discussion:
- Sharing successful ways of engaging younger generation in the practice of Santana Dharma
- Identifying gaps, needed resources, and training requirements
- A platform for open communication and sattvic issue resolution
We fondly remember and recognize the hosts of the previous conferences: Pittsburgh PA, Queens, NY, Durga Temple, VA, and the Hindu Temple of Minnesota. We are very pleased that the conference is being held in the Southern California region for the first time.
