How A Hindu NRI from Guntur, AP Woke Up With A Shock To Hear Christ Bhajans

I am in India and visited my in-law’s place which is a village near Guntur in Andhra. I visited their place after six years. I woke up at 4 AM to the Vishnu Sahasranama and was enjoying it and then came blaring loudspeakers which sounded like some Bhajans but not that I know. What I found is that Christians in the village put their Christ Bhajans mimicking the Bhajans we have. At   5 AM a blare of  Adzhan came out of the loudspeakers.  The case in point is that 6 years ago when I visited I only listened to Vishnu Sahasranama in the morning.  The wave of conversions that are triggered by YSR has fructified and almost 33% of the village has converted Christians.

You wouldn’t know a Muslim in Andhra since the men whore Dhoti and woman wore saree and toe rings and Mangalasutram.  The only way you would know they were Muslims is when they gave their name. There were no mosques except in the bigger town of  Guntur which has sizeable Muslim population traditionally. Now it spread into small villages. This was the impact of Naik and his team which learned some scriptures and started quoting them to the so-called Hindus and it is pretty convincing them to convert to Islam.  Currently, there is a campaign going on in Hyderabad by Islamic foundation. TThe campaign says ” Mohammed is everyone’s prophet”,   “Heaven is under the feet of a mother”.  Sounds like vedic?
