HJS lodges complaint with EC : ‘Jana-samvaad Yatra’ of ANS is covert canvassing for Congress

Mumbai : Congress Government passed ‘anti-superstitions Act’ after Dabholkar’s killing, paying total disregard to Opposition. Now, Congress Government is trying to take its credit by canvassing ‘this is the first Government that has passed an Act on superstitions’. Moreover, the Government also conferred ‘Padmashri’ award to Dr. Dabholkar posthumously and tried to gain sympathy of progressive people/ organizations. ‘Maharashtra Andha-shraddha Nirmulan Samiti (ANiS)’ has started a drive called ‘Jana-samvaad Yatra’ from 9th March after sitting quietly for 3 months since passing of the Act as if to repay the Government’s debt. When right of propagation of this Act is with Government officers, where is the need for ‘Jana-samvaad Yatra’? It is in a way covert canvassing for both the Congress parties. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has, therefore, made a demand with the Election Commission through a complaint that necessary action should be taken immediately in this connection. Dr. Uday Dhuri, the spokesperson of HJS for Mumbai gave the above information in a press conference held on 13th March at Mumbai Marathi Patrakar Sangh. H.B.P. Bhagavn Maharaj Kokare, the District President of Maharashtra State Warakari Mahamandal, Ratnagiri, advocate Veerendra Ichalkaranjikar, the President of ‘Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad’ and Sanatan Sanstha’s spokesperson, Shri. Anand Jakhotia addressed the press conference.
‘Jana-samvaad Yatra’ will be given an apt reply through Warakari Convention ! – H.B.P. Bhagavan Maharaj Kokare

ANiS is indirectly canvassing for corrupt and scamster Congress through the medium of ‘Jana-samvaad Yatra’; in fact, it’s a drive undertaken only for votes; therefore, this ‘Jana-samvaad Yatra’ of ANiS will be given an apt reply at Dehu on 18th March through Warakari Convention. Warakaris will now move ahead and keertankars and Warakaris will participate in this agitation.
It’s a clear breach of code of conduct set for elections ! – advocate Veerendra Ichalkaranjikar

ANiS had very close relations with Maharashtra Government as it wanted to get anti- superstitions Act passed. After Dr. Dabholkar’s killing, the State Chief Minister had lost sense when he had made baseless allegations against pro-Hindu organizations. ANiS activities are not just social; but representatives from ruling parties have taken their advantage from time to time. They have not only always targeted rightist parties; but also as openly stated by an associate of Dr. Dabholkar, they have even earlier canvassed for political parties. It is therefore, likely that propagation of the said Act, when elections are round the corner, seems to have political motive and is breach of code of conduct.
We will create awareness in ever village and expose the real nature of ‘Janasamvaad Yatra’ ! – Shri. Anand Jakhotia

It is basically a superstition that ANiS is a social organization. Anti-Hindu and anti-national activities of ANiS have been exposed from time to time. ANiS tried to bring ban on Hindus’ Deities, Saints, observances of vows, and rituals through anti-superstitions Act by initially criticizing them. Now even after this Act is passed, no action is taken against those who try to convert poor people by taking advantage of their poverty or those who are systematically converting people under the conspiracy of a program called ‘Power to change’. Many people approached ANiS for its assistance but ANiS ignored them. Thus, it has proved that it is an organization which is not really against superstitions but against Hindus. We will therefore, create awareness amongst people in every village and expose the true nature of ‘Jana-samvaad Yatra’.
Demand to ban HJS as it curbed Government’s wrong policies !
H.B.P. Bhagavan Maharaj Kokare said, “I have seen activities of Sanatan Sanstha and HJS from close quarters, as a Warakari. Sanatan has been helping the needy from villages by distributing notebooks, clothes etc. I have, therefore, supported these organizations. HJS exposed scams of the Congress Government, tried to curb immoral policies of Government; therefore, the Government is hatching a plot to impose ban on HJS or defame HJS.”
Demands made by HJS !

1. Background of organizers of ‘Jana-samvaad Yatra’ should be examined and if found political, permission for such Yatra should be cancelled.
2. Every program of ‘Jana-samvaad Yatra’ should be video-recorded and verified. Police should be instructed to register cases if anything objectionable is found.
