Sanatan Mandir San Bruno cordially invites you to a Hinduism Teaching Workshop for Parent-Teachers. The workshop is aimed at developing comprehensive competencies in all aspects of teaching Hinduism to children at elementary, middle and high school grade levels. Workshop will cover a comprehensive curriculum, pedagogy and source materials. The workshop is free of cost. The instructional materials will cost $30 per participant, which includes the text-book titled “Hindu Dharma: A Teaching Guide” (a $25 value). Lunch, Snacks and Dinner will be provided for free.
Who Should Attend |
Parents who wish to teach Hinduism to children at home or in temple schools.
About the Teacher |
Kamlesh Kapur, educator, author and researcher, Masters in Education, Secondary School Teacher in New York Public School System for two decades (now retired). She translated Bhagvad Gita in English for students. Her books include “Hindu Dharma— A Teaching Guide”, “The Lost Generation” and “Portraits of a Nation—History of Ancient India”
