Hinduism Awareness WeekThe Hindu Student Community invites event to take part in Hinduism Awareness Week from Feb 10-14. There are many events with different themes all aimed at helping the SLU community understand more about Hinduism.

The week’s guest speaker, Jack Sisk, will talk about Hinduism in America and the obstacles it has overcome thus far.

All events will be held in the conference room of the Center for Global Citizenship. Dates and themes are as follows:

6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10: Yoga and Meditation
7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11: Indian Classical Dance Workshop
7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12: Guest Speaker Jake Sisk: “Challenges Hinduism Faces in America”
8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13: Trivia Night
5:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14: Food Night
The events are completely free and open to anyone, regardless of faith, spiritual background or views.
