Prime Minister Narendra Modi has opposed the move by some states to include his life story in school curriculum. Mr Modi said that the life story of living individuals should not be included as part of it.
Noting that India has a rich history of several stalwarts who made India what it is today, Mr Modi said, young minds should read about these greats and emulate them.
The Prime Minister was commenting on the moves by the governments of Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh to include his life story in school syllabus.
