I am pleased to inform you that Hindu Worship Society in Houston is organizing श्री रामाक्षरी on Saturday, 7th November from 8 to 9 p.m. as part of its Diwali Celebration at the temple.
I am so blessed that I have been entrusted me with the responsibility of conducting this fun-filling spiritual event.
श्री रामाक्षरी is like a traditional antyakshari in which we use chaupai, doha, soratha, and chhand from Ramcharitmanas. Since some of us may not remember many of them, participants will be able to use a copy of Ramacharitmanas in this divine game! We had organized this game in HWST in April 2011.
We will be forming 2 teams of 11 members in each team. If you would like to participate, please send me your name, e-mail and phone number, at your earliest convenience. In case of couples, if both husband and wife wish to participate, I will need both the names. No special skills are required. Only divine interest in the name of Lord Rama is required!
My goal is to finalize composition of both teams by 10/25/2015. I therefore would urge to send your interest as soon as possible.
