Hindu Sangam to be held in April in Ayodhya:Hindu Mahasabha

ALLAHABAD: The national spokesperson of the Akhil Bhartiya Hindu Mahasabha, Gyan Saraswati, has expressed concern over the delay in the construction of the Ram temple at Ayodhya. The Hindu Mahasabha respects the decision of the court but it does not want a situation like the one witnessed after the judgement in 2010, he said. Talking to news persons on Thursday, he said owing to the lackadaisical attitude of the central government, the Supreme Court was unable to take up the hearing on the Ram Janmabhoomi issue.

The apex court had accepted the Special Leave Petition of all the parties on May 9, 2011 but hearing on the matter has been delayed by more than two years. In this connection, a Hindu Sangam has been organized on April 8, 2014 in Ayodhya. Earlier, Vinod Dinkar, appointed as state organisational secretary of the Hindu Mahasabha, was on Thursday declared the official candidate from Kaushambi parliamentary seat. President for North India, Ashok Chaturvedi, also present at the occasion, laid stress on cow protection and Ganga mukti abhiyaan.
