AGAIN GANGRAPE IN WEST BENGAL :Yesterday (28 May, 2014) morning, a 11-year old Hindu girl-child of Ramna village under Raghunathganj police station in Murshidabad district has been gang-raped by a gang of Islamists (Motahar Sheikh, Bapan Sheikh & Pande Sheikh), all residents of Bahadidanga village. Police could not arrest any of these culprits till now. Villagers ransacked the house of one Muslim culprit. Then police intervened and stopped the angry public.
The aunt of the raped girl-child’s father herself saw this heinous incident of rape. She also witnessed that one Muslim rapist was gleefully video-recording the child’s rape on his mobile phone. She raised an alarm. Then, the public rushed to the spot and rescued the hapless girl-child.
Another shocking part of this incident is the seamless nexus between Islamists of all backgrounds and professions. The Muslim doctor of Raghunathganj Government hospital, Dr. Haidar Nawaz, after ostensibly subjecting the girl-child to tests, gave a false report that the girl was not raped. Then, police took the traumatised girl to District Hospital at Baharampur and made arrangements of Medical Test again.
The copy of the FIR is attached. Today, at Jangipur sub divisional court, the girl’s private statement will be taken by Magistrate under Sec.164.
