Manmad (Maharashtra) – It is being learnt that a Hindu youth, Rahul Chuniyan (aged 17) was murdered by fanatics attacking him with sharp weapons at Idgah area at 10.30 p.m. Amin Patel, Munaf Sheikh, Manit Gulam Ali Shah are being arrested by police in this connection. Police patrol has been increased in the city.
Rahul Chuniyan and other youth were presenting an entertainment programme before the audience in the Ganesh festival. Suddenly some fanatics started arguing with Rahul.
These arguments culminated into fight and then the fanatics attacked Rahul with weapons and killed him.(O, Hindus ! How many such murders by fanatics are you going to tolerate ? When are you going to wake up ? – Editor SP)
Rahul’s brother Shubham Chuniyan registered a camplaint against 7 – 8 fanaticcs, Amin Kayub Sheikh, Shoeb, Jaki Haji Munaf Sheikh, Matin Gulab Shah, Saddam Badshah Attar, Asif Patel, etc.
During the funeral procession of Rahul people were holding phalaks/charts demanding punishment to those creating tension between 2 communities.
