A practising Hindu, President Mukherjee conveys his Durga Puja message against the basic tenets of Islam. Is his message ‘Must Eliminate Asuras or Divisive Forces’ designed against Islamic terrorism and growing Jihad in India?
Upananda Brahmachari | HENB | Suri | Oct 20, 2015:: This year Shri Pranab Mukherjee, a devout Hindu and Indian Prime Minister is unable to directly perform Durga Puja due to ‘Kalasouch’. Hindus are restricted to take part in direct puja rituals within one year (Kalasouch) if their close relations are expired within this period. The first lady Smt. Subhra Mukherjee was expired this year just on August 18. But, at this festive season, President Mukherjee reached Kirnahar, his resident village as usual and took part in various social and cultural programmes. Taking part in a function at Suri on Monday, organized by Nayaprajanma, a local weekly newspaper, and Suri Sabujer Abhijan, a cultural organization, in Birbhum district of West Bengal, President of India commented very importantly of the growing divisiveness in India and human society. President Pranab Mukherjee says humanism and pluralism should not be abandoned under any circumstances, asserts Indian civilization has always accepted dissent and differences, underscores the need to harness collective strength of the nation to resist evil powers. President Pranab Mukherjee has said that humanism and pluralism should not be abandoned under any circumstances. Asserting that Indian civilization has always accepted dissent and differences, he underscored the need to harness collective strength of the nation to resist evil powers. Speaking at function in his ancestral village in Birbhum, the President said Indian civilization has survived for 5000 years because of its tolerance. President tweets further, “Hope Mahamaya – the combination of all positive forces would eliminate the Asuras or divisive forces“. Without taking the name of Islam, in his series of tweets, President made emphasis on the guidance and enforcement of Divine Mother Power to destroy all the evil power destroying world peace and harmony. President’s emphasis on ‘humanism and pluralism’ goes barely against Islam as radicalism in Islam and Jihad always stand humanism and Islam never tolerates any pluralism other than exclusive Islam. So, President Mukherjee’s message goes against the basic tenets of Islam. Hoping upon the power of Mahamaya – the combination of all positive forces, President Mukherjee challenged the supremacy of Allah or he done a ‘Shrik’, if he wanted to included Allah in ‘all positive forces’. Shrik is the sin of practicing idolatry or polytheism, i.e. the deification or worship of anyone or anything other than the singular God i.e. Allah. Literally, it means ascribing or the establishment of “partners” placed beside Allah. So, the timely Durga Puja message of President Mukherjee is presumably designed against Islamic terrorism and growing Jihad in India. News Source: DD News.
