Nandurbar : National Flag is the identity of a nation and it should not be abused, is the order given by Mumbai High Court which should be implemented and committee should be set up at local levels for its implementation, was the demand made through a representation submitted by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to District Collector P. Pradip and additional Superintendent of Police Anita Patil on 3rd August 2015. HJS members viz. Prof. Satish Bagul, Dr. Narendra Patil, Narendra Tamboli, Akash Gavit, Shubham Kalal, Raju Chaudhary, Chandrakant Bhoi, Gaurav Raghuvanshi and Munna Pande etc. were present on the occasion.

District Collector P. Pradip was busy with ‘Mahasul Din’ preparations; still he accepted the representation. He said that even last year, HJS had made such demand and his department had immediately taken necessary action. This year too, similar action will be taken. Superintendent of Police Mahesh Ghurye gave time for learning the matter although he was going for an important meeting to his head office. He promised that police would be instructed to be alert especially with regard to abuse of national flags and action would be taken against those insulting the National flag.
