From the Bangladeshi jihadists the future of the  Hindus here in the border regions of the country is  no less in peril . For the  tribal communities of Jharkhand it is nothing  else but  the  Santhal Pargana  Tenancy  ACT (SPT Act ) has come in the way of  their future as a demographic existence. The age old  custom of this tribal region tells  that in the transfer of the land it is the husband of the daughter will hold the right to own it, not the son. Now the daughter being tribal, the land is to go in possession of whom she gets to be married according to the law. Now the Bangladeshis who make  illegal infiltration in Jharkhand , their next target gets to lure girls into wedlock  launching Love-Jihad. Thus, having become  son-in-law, they are bringing about the next stage of ‘Land-Jihad.’

However, leaving aside  the threat of Jihad in different forms,  there is a Congress leader who has shown more interest in raising the narrative as to why the Muslims in the country remained socio-economically backward  even more than SC/STs . Has he gone through the work of  his own  party’s ideological mentor, Jawaharlal Nehru, he would have been enlightened to the core of the mind,  all his crazy ideas  being crumbled off. Nehru writes, Bengal took the lead in English-education of the British, as Calcutta was  their capital prior to  Delhi. And, therefore, the early supply of the clerks was very largely Bengali. In 1857 three universities were started- in Calcutta, Bombay and Madras. A fact worth noticeable is that the Muslims did not take kindly the new education. They were thus left behind in the race for clerkship and government jobs. Later this became one of their grievances. (p-504, ‘Glimpses of World History : Jawaharlal Nehru)

The state of poverty at the socio-economic level among the Muslims is not a recent problem, but a part of the far old mindset community ridden with. It is therefore leaving aside all, a greater section of the people soaked in  the sole concern for  evolving ever new kind of Jihad to increase their population,  and the influence there of. And there in the Congress the problem is that it is not wanting to learn from its own bitter past with the community.

In 1930 when Iqbal announced in Muslim league’s   Allahabad convention for the separate Pakistan, he also called upon Muslims to maintain a distance from Congress party . So worse the situation had got to be then that Congress  had to resort  to  pay   10 rupees( a big amount then ) in the form of coupon payable  to  Muslims , so that they could be driven to  join  the programmes of  party.  (‘Tragic Story of Pakistan’ Swami Shraddhanand)
