Dear Mr Khan,
I have attached a copy of my letter of 24th September 2015 to Mr Jeremy Corbyn, the leader of the Labour party of which you are a member.
To date, I have not received his response to my letter.
My questions to you, as the Labour party candidate for the London Mayoral Election in May 2016, are:-
(1) Why should Indians vote for the Labour Party candidate when the leader has not responded to my letter?
(2) Why should Indians vote for the Labour Party candidate when the Labour Party leader is not in favour of having the Indian prime minister visit England on invitation from the British prime minister?
Early Day Motion 479 of 4th September 2013 is materially incorrect because:-
(1) The violence was started by Muslims and not by Hindus. This fact is not mentioned in the motion.
(2) It does not mention the number of Hindus killed in the violence
(3) …”given his role in the communal violence in 2002…” This is not true.
(4) …“on grounds that he was responsible or directly carried out……”. This is not true
(5) The highest legal court in India has cleared Narendra Modi of any role in the violence.
(6) Severe violations of religious freedom come to HINDUS from non-HINDUS.
It is clear, is it not Mr Sadiq Khan, that Jeremy Corbyn, the leader of your party, has made no attempts to verify facts before signing EDM 479.
As this issue is of great concern to Indians not only in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland but far and wide, this letter to you is an open letter.

THAT this house calls on the Secretary of State for the Home Department to reinstitute the ban on Gujarat’s Chief Minister, Narendra Modi, from entering the UK, given his role in the communal violence in 2002 that claimed the lives of hundreds if not thousands of Muslims, including British nationals; expresses its concern that the ban was lifted for economic and diplomatic reasons, ignoring the role Mr Modi and his administration played in the violence that warranted the ban that stood for more than 10 years; notes that Mr Modi was previously denied a visa on grounds that he was “responsible for or directly carried out…particularly severe violations of religious freedom; and calls on Mr Speaker and the House authorities to ban Mr Modi from entering the Palace of Westminster.
You were one of six sponsors of the motion.
You probably are aware that Mr Narendra Modi is due to visit England in November 2015.
Your views as per EDM 479 were when you were a member of parliament. Today you are leader of Her Majesty’s opposition in the British Parliament.
I am keen to learn your views regarding Mr Narendra Modi’s visit in two months’ time. Are your views still the same as they were when you signed Early Day Motion 479 of 2013-14?
Like me, many Indians are also interested in knowing your views on this issue. For this reason I am sending this letter as an open letter.
