Greetings from Maharaja Agrasen University and Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal!
I feel privileged to introduce Maharaja Agrasen University, the fast upcoming private University in Himachal Pradesh establishedunder an independent Act namely Maharaja Agrasen University (Establishment & Regulation) Act, 2012 which was inaugurated byHon’ble President of India, Sh. Pranab Mukherjee on May 25, 2013.
In a short span of two years the University has earned name and fame as an educational institution committed to provide qualityeducation to the youth aspiring for brilliant future careers in the fields of Engineering, Management, Journalism, Applied Sciences,Humanities and Pharmacy. In recognition of sustained endeavors of our University in providing professional education comparable tointernational standards, it has bagged the “CCI Technology Educational Excellence Award, 2014” conferred by GujaratTechnological University.
Bhartiya Shikshan Mandal started its work in the educational sector in 1969 with a view of awakening patriotism and nationalism. Our great visionary ancestors had devised and nurtured a scientific educational system applicable to all eras. Shikshan Mandal is working in 26 states and 228 districts of Bharat based on these universal principles. The mission of imbuing Bhartiya education with Bhartiyata for national regeneration is Bhartiya Shikshan Mandal!
Swami Vivekananda Peeth constituent of Maharaja Agrasen University in collaboration with Bharatiya Shiksha Mandal, isorganizing a two day National Conference on “Management’s Next Frontier- The Bharatiya Scriptures Applied”on 13th & 14thJune, 2015.
We find numerous such models of business management functioning in Bharat since times immemorial, which are holistic, integrated and gives supreme importance to the inter-relationship, interdependence and the inter-connection between all the constituents of the business organization. We find a multitude of the basic tenets governing these kind of business organizations in our ancient scriptures and therefore we feel that such a business management model based on the holistic, integrated Bharatiya culture is needed and it will serve as a panacea for all the problems afflicting the modern business organizations all over the world. Keeping this into the mind we are organizing this conference “Management’s Next Frontier- The Bharatiya Scriptures Applied”.
