Dr Saradindu Mukherji (Ph.D. Delhi Univ) taught Modern History at Delhi University for 41 yrs. Formerly a PDF Scholar, at University of London, and Charles Wallace Visiting Fellow, Univ of Hull, has written on peasantry of colonial India, Ramjanmabhoomi related issues, forced migration(refugee problem), Bharat’s foreign policy, condition of Hindu minorities in Pakistan, Bangladesh and the diaspora, debates on historiography etc. His latest on pre-partition politics(Franakfurt) has just come out, and has written for all the major dailies of Bharat. He is a former member of the Indian Council of Social Science Research(MHRD, GOI), & Hony President, Centre for Research on Indo-Bangladesh Relations, Kolkata.
