Shri Dilip Vasant Betkekar is the National Secretary of Vidya Bharati. He has Masters degree in History, English, Sociology and Political Science. He has written more than 500 articles in Marathi and English newspapers, journal and magazines. He has delivered over 800 lectures for students, teachers, headmasters, parents and school management committees. He took voluntary retirement at the age of 45 to devote full time for Vidya Bharti. He is a member of Goa State Planning Board and Goa State Education Advisory Council.
