India is truly the birthplace of Hinduism and therefore one can easily find innumerable temples of various gods here.
However, outside India too, one can find some really ancient Hindu temples even though they aren’t a common sight.
What is interesting about these temples outside India is that they are not just visited by Hindus, but people from other religions too visit them. These temples are also believed to be wish-fulfilling ones. The first temple we are going to consider is the Sadhu Bela Temple in Sindh, Pakistan. The Temple is held in high esteem by Hindus throughout Sindh and even in India, occasionally attracting pilgrims from across the border.

Located on the banks of the Bagmati River, the Pashupatinath temple is best known for its magnificent architecture. The two-storey pagoda structure houses a sacred linga of Shiva, making it one of the most important Hindu temples in Nepal. Pashupatinath is also the most used cremation spot in the Kathmandu Valley.
The temple was built by Ballal Sen in Bangladesh, who was the king of the Sena dynasty. Many say that the city was named after this temple. Some researchers say that the temple is also one of the ‘Shaktipeeths’, where the jewel from the crown of Goddess Sati had fallen. This temple was severely damaged during the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War destroying over half of the temple’s buildings. This temple was also visited by Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, who prayed here during his official visit to Bangladesh on 7 June 2015.
The temple holds special significance as an eight-foot statue of Hanuman was discovered here long ago. The temple is undergoing a renovation now and the authorities have promised to not make any changes in the room where Hanuman’s idol is kept.
It is perhaps the oldest temple in the Kathmandu Valley and is surrounded by sculptures and arts related to Lord Vishnu.
Also, one can find the temples of Lord Shiva, Ashta Matrika, Chhinnamasta, Kileshwor and Krishna inside the courtyard of main temple.

Kaliya Jue Temple is located in the town of Dinajpur, Bangladesh. The temple is situated to the west side of the Dinajpur Rajbari.
This temple is a popular pilgrimage for Hindus and existing since the 14th century. The devotees believe that Goddess Kali of this temple grants wishes to those who ask with a pure heart.
Ritual sacrifices of goats are made here by devotees on Saturdays and Tuesdays to please the goddess.
