Dr. Malik is an Oncologist by profession based in North Bethesda, MD. Currently, she heads the Thoracic Cancer Therapeutics, Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program, Division of Cancer Treatment & Diagnosis at the National Cancer Institute (NCI). Dr. Malik is a life member of Kashmiri Overseas Association and is serving as its Chairperson & President for the second term.
