The Central Government has given a big relief to the victimised minority Hindus of Islamic countries such as Pakistan and Bangladesh by legislating the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). However, the process of entry into India is still old and defective. It needs to be improved. The Prime Minister of Pakistan declares Pakistan as ‘Riyasat-e-Medina’, meaning, a country free of Kafirs and gives free hand to the jihadis and religious fanatics for committing anti-Hindu acts, said the President of international organisation ‘Nimittekam’, Mr. Jay Ahuja. This organisation is active for the welfare of victimised Pakistani Hindus.
He was speaking at a webinar on ‘Ethnic cleansing of Hindus in Pakistan and Bangladesh’ organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti on 26th June. On this occasion, Swami Pradiptanand Maharaj of Bharat Sevashram Sangh, Senior Editor Mr. Abhijit Majumder, a displaced Pakistani Hindu Mr. Bhagchand Bhil and the National Guide of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti Sadguru (Dr.) Charudatta Pingale also addressed. This programme was telecast live on Facebook and YouTube and viewed by 45,000 people; whereas, it reached 1,25,000 people.
H.H. (Adv.) Rabindra Ghosh, Founder of ‘Hindu Minority Watch’ from Bangladesh stated in His message, “We fought hard for the liberation of Bangladesh. However, the same Bangladesh became Islamic after Independence, instead of embracing secularism. Minority Hindus are fighting to survive by enduring atrocities. Today, in the time of Corona pandemic, Hindus are being discriminated against and getting substandard treatment”.
Senior Editor, Mr. Abhijit Majumder said while addressing the webinar, “The international media is active in Pakistan, but not so in Bangladesh. As a result, the atrocities committed on Hindus in Bangladesh are not disseminated. The pitiful stories of victimised Hindus should find the global platform. This will bring pressure on the Bangladesh Government. For this purpose, it is necessary to implement a disciplined and long-term movement.”
Swami Pradiptanand Maharaj said, “India was partitioned despite promises given by Gandhi and Nehru but we have not preserved the memory of history. Today, not only Bangladeshi Hindus, but also those from Bengal are undergoing ethnic cleansing. In view of this, it is necessary that Hindus become capable of protecting self and the Dharma.”
Sadguru (Dr.) Charudatta Pingale said on this occasion, “Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has raised the voice against injustice being done with Hindus in both the countries. Agitations were also held in this context. In this regard, it is necessary to create more awareness in the Hindu community for doing them justice and make efforts by getting united.”
A displaced Pakistani Hindu who came to India in 2009, Mr. Bhagchand Bhil said, “The voice of Hindus in Pakistan has become very feeble. Hindus have to live there by making a lot of compromises. The entire system in that country is anti-Hindu. At least, some voices come out in case of atrocities committed on rich Hindus; however, the state of poor Hindu families is still pitiable. H.H. Shivnarayan Sen, the editor of monthly ‘Truth’ from Bengal and office-bearer of ‘Shastra-Dharma Prachar Sabha’ presented his opinion through a video.
