We are all aware that during this grave pandemic and the subsequent lockdown announced by our Hon Prime Minister to ensure the safety of the citizens a lot of migrant laborers ,poor daily wagers, destitutes and many others are facing lot of hardships with regards to the food and other basic necessities..
Vishwa Hindu Parishad has been at the service of all such people across the nation and a state/union territory wise Helpline Numbers has been issued . VHP Mumbai has been doing a phenomenal work with thousands of volunteers on the ground feeding poor and hungry people with the facilities of community kitchen at different places in Mumbai,Thane and the entire Konkan belt.
VHP has also distributed Kits consisting Food Grains/other essentials consisting of 5 kg Rice ,5 kg Wheat flour, Sugar,Dal,Cooking oil ,Masalas ,potatoes and onions to thousands of poor and needy..These Kits has been distributed by our Volunteers across Mumbai/Thane/Bhiwandi and Palghar regions.
Our Swargiya Ashok Singhal Rugnalaya premises at Sion Mumbai ,Food for more than 5000 people twice a day is cooked served and even distributed at the nearby localities also , while doing all these Noble Humanity work safety ,discipline and Social distancing is well maintained
