Hinduism in Latin America: Rajiv Malhotra

Hinduism in Latin America

Swami Paramadvaiti, an original disciple of Swami Prabhupada is the founder of Vrinda Mission, whose aim is to spread the cultural heritage of the Vedas around the world. He talks about the increasing popularity of Hinduism and Dharmic values in South American countries and how his organization is facilitating this through the establishment of Eco Yoga villages and Vaishnava ashrams. He discusses some of the commonalities between Hindu culture and culture of South American adivasis (original natives) in terms of respect of nature and sacred feminine, and also touches upon some of the challenges faced on account of aggressive evangelism by Christian Missionaries.
