A pioneer of Sangh work, Jagdish Chandra Sharda (Shastri) is no more

Pujya Jagdish Chandra Sharda (Shastri) is no more

It is with great sadness and heavy heart we inform you that Pujya Jagdish Chandra Sharda (Shastri) passed away on December 25, 2017. He left in peace surrounded by his family at his side. Outside of Bharat, he was true pioneer of Sangh work. His life was an inspiration for thousands. I had the good fortune of meeting him couple of times at his home in Canada and also at the VSS in 2010. Always smiling, beaming with affection, he was ever full of enthusiasm, hope and wisdom. His guidance and blessings led to a successful HMEC in Canada in 2013.

He was a humble man from Chirak, Punjab, India. His life spanned four continents, his family was as large as the tens of thousands of people he came in contact with. He showed us how to live to 95, while focusing on the betterment of the community that he selflessly served.

May Ishwara grant sadgati to his punya Atman on its onward journey, and strength and forbearance to his family to bear this loss.

All are invited to join the Sharda Pariwar to acknowledge and celebrate the life of our Global Hindu.

If you are unable to attend, you can view the proceedings online at the link below.

Om Shanti, Shanti, Shantih!
