Bajrang Dal activists held a noisy demonstration outside pronvicial headquarters of the main opposition party National Conference at Residency Road here this afternoon protesting against what they called anti-national remarks of Farooq Abdullah who described anti-India militants as “ freedom fighters.”
The Bajrang Dal activists gathered outside Sher-e-Kashmir Bhavan and held a demonstration denouncing NC president and former Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah for his alleged anti-India remarks and laudatory words used for the terrorists .
Later, they burnt an effigy of the NC president .
This protest has been used by National Conference as a manifestation of the “ anti-Kashmir “ sentiment of the Hindutva forces to draw its political mileage in the Valley.
