The WAVES 2016 Conference has been a grand success by any and all measures, the number of participants, papers presented, quality of presentations, eminent scholars, number of students and young scholars, cultural programs, facilities, food, smooth running of the program, and huge TV, print media, and social media coverage (thanks to media coordinator, Ms. Vichitra Sharma).
The Board of Directors of WAVES has been pleased with the successful conclusion of the conference, and is busy charting out some action items for the future. Special thanks to the Conference Chair, Dr. Shashi Tiwari, Co-Chair, Professor RP Singh, Conference Coordinator, Dr. Aparna Dhir, and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Director, Shri Ashok Pradhan, for carrying a large burden of organization and execution of the Conference.
We are excited about the future of the Vedic knowledge, and are looking forward to its bright and long lasting future to bring about peace and prosperity to the entire world.
