Hindu Makkal Katchi demands police protection to leaders of right wing outfits

tamil_nadu_police_emblemCOIMBATORE: Hindu Makkal Katchi, a right wing organisation, petitioned Coimbatore district collector T N Hariharan on Tuesday demanding police protection for office bearers of all Hindu outfits in the district.
The petition comes a day after VHP leader R Suri was hacked to death by three unidentified men in Hosur in Krishnagiri district and Hindu Munnani member Shankar Ganesh was attacked by a gang in Dindigul on Monday night.
Hindu Makkal Katchi leader Arjun Sampath said, “It is shocking to see two leaders of Hindu outfits are attacked. One died and another is battling for life.”
“Police should provide protection to all office bearers of Hindu outfits and nab the people behind the attacks on the Hindu leaders,” Sampath said.
