Members of the Hindu community in Leicester signed up for organ donation at a campaign supported by the city’s hospitals.
The campaign was launched at an Organ Donor Signing Card event this afternoon at the Shreejidham Haveli in Leicester.
Community ambassadors from University Hospitals Leicester are encouraging people from the Hindu community to become organ donors.
The aim of the event and campaign is to raise awareness of Organ Donation and Transplantation in Leicestershire which has a population of over 50,000 Hindus.
