Worldwide Call to Cure Diabetes Through Yoga

Screenshot(262)Today during the second “International Yoga Day”, the key message from India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi was for yoga teachers worldwide to address the rise in Diabetes and treat patients by teaching yoga techniques.

Countries around the globe are being hit with massive medical costs as a result of the rise in obesity and type 2 diabetes, especially among children. India and China lead the world with 65 and 98 million cases and rising. Untreated, diabetes leads to heart attacks, limb amputation, kidney failure, coma and death.

Endocrinologist Kasia Lipska has been in hospitals, fighting this war, for twelve years. She was first alerted to it when a young woman in her 30s arrived in emergency with a diabetes-induced brainstem stroke. “Indians are now living more sedentary lives, working in banks, labs and call centers; all the while, their diet is changing, as they eat out more and consume foods higher in calories and saturated fats.

What’s more, evidence suggests that Indians may be especially predisposed to diabetes, so even those who are slightly overweight are more likely to be at risk. India also has a high malnutrition rate among children, and poor nutrition in early life appears to trigger metabolic changes that lead to diabetes in adulthood. The result is a perfect storm of commerce, lifestyle and genetics.

Especially alarming is the rise in obesity and Type 2 diabetes in children. Gone is the active lifestyle that limited sweets to special festival days, and walking to school was the norm. Now junk food snacks can be purchased all day, every day from vending machines. Children rarely exercise and most are driven to school. Finish the day off in front of the computer, playing video games, and you have created the perfect conditions for a global epidemic.

Today, acknowledging India’s immense contribution to the world through yoga, Prime Minister Modi went on to say, “It will be an achievement if we can help intreating diabetes.

Enter HH Paramahamsa Nithyananda, a yogi and foremost authority in the field of Consciousness and Yogic Sciences. Along with 107 other healing Kriyas, he has designed a healing Kriya to eradicate Diabetes from the planet Earth. Sri Nithyananda Swami is Mahamandaleshwar (spiritual head) of Mahanirvani Peeth, the world’s most ancient apex body of Hinduism. He is revered as a living incarnation of superconsciousness by millions worldwide. Having begun his training in yoga at the age of three, he is now continuously creating healing kriyas for humanity, and offering them free through his website Nithyananda.org and YouTube.

One patient describes his quick response to the Cure for Diabetes kriya:

“My name is Ricardo Oreiki, and I live in Houston, Texas. I got diabetes at the age of 33. I used all kinds of insulin until now. Sometimes the ambulance would take me to the hospital as my sugar level used to be really high, around 350 to 400. One day my neighbor was talking to me. He told me there was a formal exercise to do. He came to my house and taught me how I had to do it. And before I started the exercise, I checked my sugar level and it was 350. I did the exercise the way he taught me to do it. When I finished it, I checked my sugar level, and it was 85.”

“Its extraordinary because I have never seen anything reduce my sugar level so rapidly. Usually I have to walk around the neighborhood for half to one hour. Even then I have to put a lot of insulin to reduce my sugar level. This is extraordinary! I went to the doctor to see how it was. While using 5 milligrams of insulin and doing the exercise daily in the morning, it was a miracle and the doctor asked "only 5 milligrams of insulin?” and I said “Yes! Five milligrams!”

He said, ‘great, continue with this. Just five milligrams each day is fine, but check your sugar levels everyday’;. “I check, if at times it goes up a little – only 100. I am eating everything I normally eat.”

TRANSLATION

At the past midnight, in a place where there are no sounds of any animal to be  heard, let the yogi practice puraka and kumbhaka, closing the ears by the hands.

He will hear then various internal sounds in his right ear. The first sound will be like that of crickets, then that of a lute, then that of a thunder, then that of a drum, then that of a beetle, then that of bells, then those of gongs of bell-metal, trumpets, kettles-drums, mridanga, military drums, and dundubhi, etc.

Thus various sounds are cognized by daily practice of this Kumbhaka. Last of all is heard the Anahatha sound rising from the heart; of this sound there is a resonance, in that resonance there is a light. In that Light the mind should be immersed. When the mind is absorbed, then it reaches the Highest seat of Vishnu(Parama-pada). By success in this Bharaamaree Kumbhaka one gets success in samadhi.

TECHNIQUE

1.Close your ears with your hands, close your eyes and hum intensely.

2.Do this for 7 minutes

Note: 10-15 minutes after doing this kumbhaka one should eat something
