Dear Friends,

Subject: CRY MY BELOVED COUNTRY, CRY: BY Dr. HILDA RAJA

The name of Dr. Hilda Raja, a former professor at the Institute of Social Sciences at Chennai, would not be unknown to you.

Today, we are before you with an outstanding piece on how one set of Indians have been exploiting or, even looting, the country, and how all politicians are further and continuously, and one can say even shamelessly, pampering them to grab power and retain or remain in power.

Even without being anti-Muslim, either in outlook or in deed, we would like to share with you all the hard truth brought out by Dr. Hilda Raja in the form of historical narration ever since the pre-partition days. Friends, the url is:

http://bharatkalyan97.blogspot.in/2015/10/cry-my-beloved-country-dr-mrs-hilda-raja.html

We would, with all the strength at our command, request you to carefully go through this lengthy but factual account at your leisure. But, READ YOU MUST. For those busy persons, who run around all the time, we bring here some of the facts as also some questions raised by Dr. Raja has put forth before the Muslims, who, as she has pointed out, voluntarily chose to stay back in India at the time of the partition but are now demanding the same rights and privileges as the native Hindus—,a situation that exists nowhere in the world:

1. The Muslims who chose to stay behind, out of their own volition, “fail to respect the beliefs and ethos of this country”.

2. “It is the duty of the Muslims not only to accept the Hindu rites and rituals, and also sensitivity to the religious sentiments and expression of the Hindus.—After all, it is a Hindu rashtra and it is their(Hindus’) right to uphold their culture and their beliefs”.

3. Cannot the Hindus build their temples where they want? Why Hindu idol immersion ceremony has to avoid Muslim-dominated areas?

4. The Muslims manage huge Wakf Board property, the Christian Churches are the largest land-holders in the country and they manage their own educational systems. Why the temple fund cannot be left to the temple authorities to manage?

5. The Sachar Committee (illegally constituted under an illegal Law) brings out in its convoluted and fudged report how the Muslims are poor and lead life in ghettos. It forgets there are many Muslims in India like Premji especially in Bollywood.

6. Why the Muslims cannot come under the Indian Penal Code for all violations of law and instead, will enjoy Sharia Law for their civil rights?

7. Why the Muslims are reluctant to accept the Common Civil Code?

8. The Muslims are profilgate in reproducing and yet they want reservations.

9. Cannot the Hindus assert their rights in their own way?

Friends, there are a lot of other features Dr. Raja has pointed out or we also can add. Setting those aside, the Hindus in India, as Raja has pointed out, want: “Treat us as equals”. By virtue of the colossal misuse of the term “secularism”, which, in effect, is a part and parcel of Hindu civilisation, Hindus in India are being discriminated against all the time and are being made to feel like lesser citizens in their own motherland.

Dr, Hilda concludes:

“That much for democracy, secularism and pluralism. Cry My Beloved Country.”

Friends, we are certain you all will agree that circulating the full piece of this mail on the internet, though necessary, is not even doing half of our duty. With your cooperation, it has to be reached to every citizen of the country, East to West, North to South. We will have to make everyone aware of her/his rights. Let us resolve, we all shall fight for getting our dues. We shall start with protesting in some orchesrated manner against undue discrimination in favour of any minority communities as also the positive discriminations against the Hindus.

For this, we will have to get the account of Dr. Hilda Raja translated in Hindi and all regional languages and have the matter reached down to the villages. We have high hopes we can do so.
